# Pricing
## No subscription required
AI is expensive to run. Every generated audio clip, checklist, and bilingual PA costs real money through third-party AI services.
Rather than pass these costs on through a subscription, we chose a different approach.
We offset costs through optional one-time-purchase add-on packs — multilingual support, extra voice packs, and more — along with advanced cost-reduction techniques.\

**All core features needed to fly from A to B are free.**
The Comms Center — unrestricted chat with your crew and airline staff — uses pay-as-you-go credits. It's like an optional chatbot.
**The chats are optional and not required to complete a flight.**

Credits keep usage fair — otherwise, one request for the FO to write a 200,000-word War and Peace essay and FS2Crew goes out of business!
The extra voices (300+ new voices) and multilingual support packs are "one-time" purchases that cover all FS2Crew Generation AI products, present, past, and future.
